We're looking for a manager for our blog and social content team who can contribute to both our Japanese-language and English-language blogs, social media, and uKnow! content. Our content explores a wide range of topics and advice related to learning English and the culture of English-speaking countries, as well as our company and its services. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills in both Japanese and English, with writing and/or editing experience in at least one of those languages, preferably Japanese.

This is a full-time managerial position that involves managing the social content team and tasks at all stages of the content creation process including the pitching, researching, writing, editing, and promotion of new blog content. You will also be responsible for managing the creation of social media and marketing content, perform occasional translation tasks, and collaborate with our international materials team to help promote our company and its services.
ソーシャルコンテンツチームを管理し、新しいブログ・コンテンツの企画、リサーチ、ライティング、編集、プロモーションなど、コンテンツ制作の全工程に携わるフルタイムの管理職です。また、SNSやマーケティング・コンテンツの作成管理、時には翻訳業務も行い、海外の教材開発チームと協力し、当社とそのサービスのプロモーションを支援します。

Native-level Japanese skills, including excellent writing/editing skills in Japanese are essential. You must also be able to communicate comfortably and effectively in English. The ability to write and edit in English at a high level is also highly desirable, but not necessary for the right candidate.
日本語での優れたライティング／編集スキルを含む、ネイティブレベルの日本語スキルが必須です。また、英語で快適かつ効果的なコミュニケーションができなければなりません。高いレベルの英文執筆・編集能力があることも非常に望ましいですが、適任者であれば必須ではありません。

Candidates must currently reside or be open to relocating within a commutable distance to Tokyo.

Main Duties　仕事内容

• Manage the blog/social content team (Approximately 3-5 members).
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive content strategy for our blog, social media accounts, and uKnow! platform.
• Manage the creation of content, including writing, editing, and ensuring adherence to quality guidelines.
• Oversee the scheduling and release of content on various platforms, including our blog, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Regularly contribute to content creation yourself as a writer/editor. 
• Monitor and analyze the performance of content, making adjustments to the strategy as necessary.
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and SEO, to optimize blog content for search engines and maximize reach.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices for blog and social media content.
• Mentor a team of writers and content creators, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality output.
• Review and approve blog drafts and social media content submitted by team members, providing constructive feedback for improvement.

• 定期的にライター／編集者としてコンテンツ制作に貢献する。
• コンテンツのパフォーマンスを監視・分析し、必要に応じて戦略を調整する。
• SNSプラットフォーム上でフォロワーと関わり、コメントやメッセージに対応する。
• マーケティングやSEOなど他のチームと協力し、ブログコンテンツを検索エンジン向けに最適化し、リーチを最大化する。
• ブログやSNSコンテンツの業界トレンドやベストプラクティスを常に把握する。
• ライターやコンテンツ制作者のチームを指導し、質の高いアウトプットができるよう指導やフィードバックを行う。
• チームメンバーから提出されたブログ原稿やSNSコンテンツをレビュー・承認し、改善のための建設的なフィードバックを提供する。

• Professional writing and editing experience for a Japanese audience.
• Experience managing corporate SNS accounts or blogs with a track record for growth.
• 2-3 years experience in a management role.
• Native Japanese speaker. Able to write and edit Japanese at a high level, with a strong knowledge of grammar & punctuation.
• Able to identify and improve Japanese that does not sound "native/natural".
• Able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English with other team members.

※スキル、経験を考慮した上で給与を決定します
