◆Overseas Division
We aim to provide the best Japanese content to our overseas users with stylish, performant and easy to use web and mobile applications supporting upcoming technologies like VR while striving to support a wide array of devices and platforms.

We are looking for a User Interface Graphic Designer responsible for the design and branding of large scale web/mobile applications providing Japanese content to users overseas. Your primary focus will be creating the visual design, user interface and experience of projects for desktop and mobile devices. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is expected, as well as experience in eCommerce/marketing design.

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Maintain a cohesive branding styles across multiple applications such as web and mobile applications
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets

【Required skills/Experience】
• Proven UI/UX experience for web and mobile applications
• Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Ability to create design guidelines
• Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities
• Fluent in responsive design, mobile/tablet UI UX
• At least 5 years of UX design experience (and the portfolio to prove it) as a key, hands- on interaction/visual designer of a UI/UX team through the product development cycle of successfully launched web, mobile, and/or software applications
• Fluent Business Japanese
